Coffee Martinis: A Match Made in Heaven

Two martini recipes to inspire your inner mixologist

You might think of coffee and alcohol as polar opposites in the beverage world, with alcohol being for saturday nights and coffee for sunday mornings. But we’re here to prove that wrong and bring together the best of both worlds. We’ve curated two recipes to test your mixology skills and make your tasty and boozy dreams a reality.

Where did coffee martinis come from?

The delicious drink’s origins begin in 1980’s London with its recipe’s credits going to the British bartending master Dick Bradsell. The story that comes with the drink is as interesting as the taste itself. It goes that a famous model went to the bar and asked Bradsell for a drink that would wake her up and also get her a buzz. His solution was the classic martini which we know and love today!

So whether you're more of an O.G kinda person who prefers your espresso martini's black, or have a little bit of a sweet tooth and fancy a change up on the classic, simply pop the ingredients of your chosen cocktail below into a glass jar, lid on, shake until your hands are numb and pour, enjoy!
